Moody Minimalism at the Iconic Pool and Grill 

To reflect the winter season, we selected a muted palette of moss green, winter white, natural linen, walnut and coal. There were even a few February snow sprinkles as the couple had their portraits taken on the city streets, which was a memorable moment of the day.

For the ceremony, the grooms preferred a slim minimalistic chuppah design with seasonal greenery, branchy accents, and white florals grounding the structure. This allowed the couple and their love for each other to act as the focal point. The couple’s friend and renowned author acted as their officiant with a moving speech about their union.

As guests moved to dinner, we had a sleek and simple seating chart custom built to perfectly fit in the entryway to the dining area where guests could collect their place cards and find their seats. 

Elongated acrylic floral vessels lined the bone velvet dining tables and were inspired by the pool itself. They effortlessly floated lily pads and the ikebana style floral arrangements for a unique design experience. In the center of the room, a custom structure was built over the pool to showcase the height of the room and to reference the venue's other structural art installations over their bar and lounge areas.

Mid-century modern lounge furniture was brought in to compliment the dancing area and enhance the architecturally driven design. Lighting was maneuvered to give the space an intimate feel and add a moody ambience as guests enjoyed a night of drinks and dancing.
