The couple fell in love with the ceremony view of Kenoza Lake and that was the main reason why they chose this beautiful remote setting for their wedding. The venue reminded them of childhood summer camp gatherings and weekends spent at their family home in Aspen. With that in mind, we had their ceremony chuppah base made with Aspen-like trees as a nod to one of their favorite places. The chuppah was adorned with autumnal earth-toned florals and accented with terracotta urns to add dimension and layers of interest to the ceremony design.
Guests enjoyed cocktails inside the inn and along the patios of Kenoza Hall where the couple’s signature aperol spritz and cucumber margaritas were passed to friends and family upon arrival.
The reception took place under a sailcloth tent in the open fields nearby. The tent was swagged with twinkling string lights and decorated with greenery to bring the outside nature into the tent. Whimsical patterned and solid green linens provided the tablescape backdrop for natural woven chargers, minimalistic dinnerware, fun watercolor dinner menus, and warm-toned organic floral arrangements. It was a beautiful setting for toasts, hugs, and lots of dancing!
With a majority of guests staying on property, they were able to relax and comfortably enjoy the after party in the main inn where everyone danced until they headed back to their bungalows later in the evening.
