The bride wanted to fully embrace the fall season so we leaned into an autumnal floral palette of amber, warm rose, cream, clay, and honey. The palette worked perfectly in the garden setting on this November afternoon as the leaves finished changing color in Georgia.
As guests arrived at the ceremony garden space, they were greeted with warm apple cider cocktails and cozy pashminas. The ceremony backdrop incorporated the property’s 150 year old pecan tree that was hugged with a cascading floral installation where the bride and groom shared their vows along with some good laughs.
Baseball is significant to the couple and the groom spectacularly pitched the winning ball in the World Series game the same year. Instead of a traditional guest book, friends left their autographs on baseballs which were repurposed into a creative art piece for the couple’s new home together. A customized mini-sailboat along with rose blooms were added into the poolside cocktail space as a heartfelt nod to the couple’s engagement at sea.
Guests meandered through the manicured gardens to the reception tent where they were greeted with champagne and a jaw dropping entrance floral installation. Inside the tent, dining tables were lined with soft oatmeal velvet linens and topped with golden tableware accents. The lounge by the dance floor took center stage and was framed by delicate greenery adorning the tent poles and the hoop chandeliers.
A heartfelt wedding that embraced the fall season and included meaningful baseball inspired details as a nod toward the groom’s career playing for the Atlanta Braves.
