The Bowery Hotel has a bit of an old world charm to it with its iron details, tapestries, lustrous green velvet curtains, and brickwork. This couple wanted to lean into that moody Dutch Masters style and create a sumptuous design that would support the atmosphere for an unforgettable celebration.

Guests arrived at the exclusive ceremony space where champagne awaited them. The couple was wed by their closest friends who officiated under a beautiful chuppah embellished with lush jewel-toned florals. Afterwards, the event transitioned to the outdoor terrace where musicians played, cocktails were passed, and everyone enjoyed the city views.

Dining tables were layered with golden velvet linens and adorned with Italian Spode blue dinnerware as a nod to the groom’s Italian heritage. The tables were finished with deep yet vibrant floral arrangements in the Dutch Masters style and paired with vintage silver taper candlesticks.

The evening continued as guests danced the night away while the band played. Slices of NY style pizza were served to-go with guests as they left the reception to head to the after-party downstairs at The Bowery Electric where the night concluded.

We partnered with this sweet couple to plan an inclusive multi-cultural celebration that incorporated two ceremonies and a blend of traditions as a nod to both of their backgrounds.
